P&J Live Bucksburn
There’s a new kid on the block in the world of entertainment. Having opened in 2019, P&J Live is Aberdeen’s state-of-the-art events venue and is already taking centre-stage with its dazzling line up of stars. From showcasing comedians like Michael McIntyre to legends like Girls Aloud and even The Harlem Globetrotters, you’re bound to have a good night out in the Granite city!
The venue is easily accessible by public transport with the PJ1 by Stagecoach and Jet 727 bus service running frequently, train connections to Dyce Train Station, extensive bicycle and car parking, a taxi drop-off and pick-up point, and ferry services disembarking at the city centre’s harbour.

Aberdeen Christmas Village Broad Street
From mid-November to late December, the city puts on a festive display for the little ones and the young at heart. Watch Broad Street transform into a winter wonderland with the Aberdeen Christmas Village. Looking to don your skates? Now is the time to hone your skills at the open-air ice rink and enjoy lots of traditional fairground rides like the helter-skelter and horse carousel. Here to brighten spirits in the long, dark winter months is SPECTRA Aberdeen. This popular light festival takes place every February and is awash with immersive light installations and projections on city landmarks including Aberdeen Street Gallery, Marischal College, Union Street and much more. It’s a great way to embrace the remaining winter nights and you don’t need to spend a single penny either.

His Majesty's Theatre Rosemount Viaduct
Entertaining audiences since 1906, His Majesty’s Theatre really knows how to put on a show. Located next to Aberdeen Central Library, book a ticket to see a spectacular musical, drama or enjoy a night of laughter with a comedy gig.
Before the curtain rises, head to the bar and sip on your favourite beverage or grab one during the interval. Make sure to keep those rumbling tummies at bay with a bite to eat at the theatre’s Terrace Bar and Café which overlooks Union Terrace Gardens.

The Lemon Tree Aberdeen
The Lemon Tree is home to live performances, creative projects, music, comedy and events. It sits just behind Marischal College at the end of Union Street and you can enjoy a drink before your show at Kate's Bar.
