Spectacular Jousting (Caerlaverock)

Visit Caerlaverock Castle, associated with the Maxwell family for over 400 years, for a weekend of medieval entertainment at the annual jousting tournament.

Support your hero as the daring knights battle it out in a dramatic show of bravery and skill and wander through the colourful encampments to experience medieval life first-hand.

This page is not updated over the event weekend, so if you can't see any tickets available on our ticketing page, then they have sold out.

The event takes place outside the castle on the grassed area in front of the visitor centre and in the neighbouring field. There is ramped access to the field.

Limited accessible parking is available.
