Ardlui Hotel offers glamping bothies just a couple of minutes walk from the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond
Ardlui is a 3 Star Holiday Park and stands on the shores of Loch Lomond, commanding a superb panoramic view of this most famous of Scottish lochs.
The beautiful crystal clear waters in this region of the Loch make it one of the most stunning spots in the Loch Lomond area. With less of the bustle and traffic of other stretches of the Loch, the Ardlui Holiday Home Park is ideal for those looking for adrenaline and relaxation alike.
Please note that we have 2 different types of Walkers bothies & they are located on the opposite side of the road from the hotel & facilities.
Walker’s Bothy 1 & 2
We have 2 bothies which are 2/3 person camping pods, each with a twin bed layout which can be converted to a double. 3 persons would require the occupants to sleep three in a row.
Please note that the price quoted per bothy is based on two persons sharing. There are no discounts for single occupancy. 3 people in the bothy will be charged at £45.00 (please select this in the extras area of the booking screen).
Large Walker's Bothy
We have 1 bothy which sleeps 4/5 persons, this bothy boasts 2 bunks which can be converted into a double & 2 top bunks. 5 persons would require 3 of the occupants to sleep three in a row.
Please note that the price quoted per bothy is based on four persons sharing. There are no discounts for single occupancy. 5 people in the bothy will be charged at £70.00 (please select this in the extras area of the booking screen).
All 3 of these timber, armadillo style bothy's are great for campers who don’t want the hassle of carrying a tent, or would like a more comfortable nights sleep. Ideal for those wet and windy nights!
Equipped with underfloor heating, lighting, a double socket, large rear window with blind, a decked area and security door lock, these pods provide everything you will require for a night of 'glamping'. Vinyl covered mattresses are provided, but you will need your own sleeping bag/pillow.
Camping
If you are looking to pitch your tent, then our campsite here at Ardlui is very popular with walkers of The West Highland Way, which runs along the other side of the loch and is accessed via a ferry from the Ardlui Marina. We only have a small campsite, with the benefit of being close to the hotel, affording campers the chance to wine and dine at Ardlui’s cosy restaurant and bars. Only £9.00 per person per night
