The Bank - Anstruther. Situated with one of the finest views of Anstruther, The Bank overlooks The Dreel Burn merging with The Firth of Forth.
We offer 4 star accommodation, friendly local service, home cooked food, a large selection of fine ales and malt whisky's, a spectacular garden bar, outdoor children's play area and live entertainment
The Bank is situated with one of the finest views in Anstruther where the Dreel Burn merges with the Firth of Forth. The Bank offers something for everyone's tastes whether it's from our Bar Lunch and Bar Supper menu, or a drink from the largest selection of real ales, draught beers, wines and spirits in the area.
The Bank was refurbished with quality and service in mind with leather seating, open fires, 2 large screen tvs showing sky entertainment but a contemporary twist proving a big hit with locals and visitors alike. Homely, traditionally cooked food prepared from quality local produce is served in our Restaurant area and also in the Garden Bar.
The garden bar offers what has been described as a "Sun Trap" in mature gardens surrounded by substantial stone walls for privacy. The Garden bar is open when weather permits and offers a children's play area to keep all the family happy!!!
Our accommodation opened after a full restoration of the property and to say we are very proud of the change is an understatement.
The rooms consist of all king size beds that can be split to accommodate twin rooms sleeping up to 18 guests at a time. The bathrooms are all en-suite with showers and baths in them. The rooms are equipped with large screen tv's, dvd players, hospitality trays, complementary bottles of water and fresh flowers to set the room off.
The banks rooms must be seen to be appreciated.
We also have a private garden area for our guests to relax in whilst enjoying something from our extensive drinks selection
If you are part of a walking, cycling, fishing or golfing group, we have extra storage facilities and if your part of a walking group possibly doing the "Fife Coastal Path," then contact us directly for a group price.
Directions
From the main roundabout in Anstruther at the top of Rodger Street, take the main road towards Pittenween and Elie. The Bank is on your left after 50 metres
Getting there by railway:- Leuchars train station is only a short drive from us. The station has main road links, a 15 minute bus service and a 24hour taxi rank
Getting there by aeroplane:- Edinburgh and Glasgow are the main airports servicing "The East Neuk of Fife" with scheduled flights all day.
