The Summer Isles Hotel nestles quietly near the shores of Badentarbat Bay on the west coast of Scotland.

You arrive at the hotel by road from Ullapool, having driven through some of the most striking scenery in Scotland. Just before the road runs out, you'll find the hotel car park.

There are several sizes of room to choose from, many enjoying views over the bay and beyond to the Summer Isles. There's also a lovely cottage in the hotel grounds.

You might want to visit the Summer Isles Hotel because of its isolated location - and that would be fine - but you'll remember the hotel for its food, fabulous wine list and warm, attentive service.

The food is freshly prepared by talented chefs. You can eat in the bar where they serve the Summer Isles signature Seafood Platter, or you can take dinner in the dining room, where you will be treated each evening to a fine dining experience with a six course tasting menu, served at a relaxed pace.

The wine list features some 500 wines. It's been a labour of love for many years as wines are carefully selected and curated until they're ready to drink as the winemaker intended. If you know your wines (or you'd like to get to know wine better) this is the right hotel for you.
