St. Andrews Coach Houses is located only a five-minute drive outside St. Andrews and is set in the beautiful countryside of Fife, on a working farm. Offering a luxury wellness countryside retreat with four self-catered holiday lodges on site and an activity barn to be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. We have three Coach Houses that will accommodate up to four guests each and Priory Lodge which has a hot tub can accommodate up to six. In total, we can accommodate up to eighteen guests on site, ideal for birthday celebrations, wedding parties and friend gatherings. - An Activity Barn on site. - This has been a huge success with our guests as it keeps their children (and themselves as well!) entertained for hours. The Barn has a full-size pool table, table tennis table, basketball net, table football, darts board, mini badminton court, children’s climbing frame with slide and cozy coupe cars etc.
- Wheelchair accessible – all four properties are wheelchair accessible with a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. We do not however have specific disabled facilities within each cottage. For more information please call.
- There is a patio to the front of each property with stunning views over the fields and Priory Lodge also has a private secluded patio to the rear with a six-person hot tub where you can relax with your family, friends and loved ones.
- There is a large lawn outside the Coach House. It is a fantastic place for kids to run around and play. Our guests with younger children have found this area ideal, as the baby can be playing on a rug out on the lawn while the older children can be playing football on the lawn.
- A luxury experience - as each property has Egyptian cotton linen, fluffy towels and many of our guests have complimented us on our “extremely comfortable beds”.
- A peaceful location with stunning views of the countryside.
- We offer a home away from home, a place where you can totally relax and switch off from your busy life.
From romantic retreats, family breaks away, to group bookings and exclusive use St. Andrews Coach houses is a perfect destination whatever your requirements. We can accommodate up to nineteen people onsite.
The Properties
- The Castle Coach House – Sleeps Four and is our dog friendly property.
- The Dukes Coach House – Sleeps Four.
- The Eden Coach House – Sleeps Four or Five with a Z bed.
- Priory Lodge – Sleeps Six with a hot tub and is on one level.
St. Andrews Coach Houses has a long-standing history in Scottish agriculture as originally, the properties housed the Clydesdale Horses and all the carts for harvesting the crops on the farm. Having fallen into disrepair over the years, back in 2008 they were lovingly rebuilt following the original blueprint of the building to what you see now.

How to Get Here
Drive to St. Andrews then take the A915 to Kirkcaldy. The Coach Houses are approximately 2 miles outside St. Andrews. When you have driven through a set of traffic lights turn first left approximately 600 metres past these lights and follow the signposts.
