Buzzard is a beautiful, dog friendly, self catering holiday cottage nestled in an 84 acre estate with a private wood fired hot tub. Soak up fantastic views of the Lake of Menteith. A wood burning fire, lush decor and designer features await. Meet the Highland Cows during the Nether Glenny Farm tour, enjoy lunch in our New Pantry and browse our own homemade products. Nether Glenny Farm is the perfect location to explore the National Park and The Trossachs and also to enjoy hiking from your doorstep. Immerse yourself in farm life and enjoy hillside peace and tranquility. We look forward to welcoming you.
Buzzard has been converted from an old barn into a gorgeous cottage offering a country yet lush vibe. Well equipped and beautifully decorated making it the perfect country retreat for families or couples. The original stone walls have been retained and modern furniture along with tasteful decor offer a fine compliment. The spacious open plan living area downstairs comprises of a large wood burning fire, lounge, kitchen and dining area creating an ideal space for friends to socialise after a day of sightseeing, mountain biking or hillwalking. Perhaps you'll chose to relax in the wood fired Hot Tub and enjoy views across the hills or the starry, dark skies. We can have the tub ready for you on arrival day and Matthew can be on hand to assist you throughout your stay. The Hot Tub is available to use from April until the end of October.
Buzzard has 2 large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Bedroom one has a king-sized bed and bedroom two also has a king size bed as well as a full single bed. Buzzard's bedrooms have a chalet lay out and we have selected lush soft furnishings/ Scottish accessories and natural colours to compliment your Trossachs experience. Outside there is plenty space to roam and explore as hiking is in abundance directly from your doorstep. You might like to sit at a picnic bench and enjoy lunch over looking the lake or lounge in the recliners in the garden.
Learn more about Nether Glenny farm and its animals as well as how we reduce our carbon footprint by joining Matthew on a farm tour. You'll travel around the farm, off road by kawasaki mule so prepare from some fun and to meet the Highland Cows! We're excited to launch The Pantry, our new Nether Glenny Shop. Guests can browse and purchase our own homemade products, our Nether Glenny merchandise and of course our homecooked delicous Dine In meals. The Pantry, with its cosy wood bunrder is also the location for our farm tour lunches and we're creating a woodland picnic area for our guests complete with tables, BBQ's and twinkly lights of course. Further afield the national park there is much to explore on bikes, by foot or by car. We look forward to welcoming you to Nether Glenny Farm.
