A very comfortable cottage in a very scenic, quiet and peaceful location, 9 miles from Portree and ideally situated for visiting north and central Skye. STL licence HI-30025-F
Hill Cottage sits at the end of the crofting township of Park Bernisdale, 9 miles from Portree towards Dunvegan. With outstanding scenery from every window, it is in a peaceful and very private location with no passing traffic whatsoever. A great base for visiting North and Central Skye, be it for an active or completely relaxing holiday. Stays are from 3 nights or longer, it is only suitable for children of 7 and over and no pets allowed.
Hill Cottage has WiFi (around 25Mb) and a Zappi EV charger provided for guest convenience, allowing overnight usage at the cottage. We note the electricity used for each charge from our Zappi app and ask for payment at end of stay.
Built in 2012 to a traditional Skye design. The hot water and underfloor heating are supplied by renewable energy from solar panels and an air source unit which provide a lovely even level of comfort throughout. The 2 bedroom cottage sits on top of a small hill looking out Loch Snizort towards the Outer Isles. Even when the weather is not so good, the light and colours are still fascinating. It has been given a 4 star rating by VisitScotland and can accommodate a maximum of 4 people including children aged 7 and over. A king size bed with ensuite and a twin bedroom with a separate large shower room. It is available from any day of the week all year round, subject to a minimum 3 night stay.
