Westfield is a traditional, comfortable, four bedroom, self-catering holiday home on the Isle of Arran. The spacious house sleeps seven and is situated in a quiet location on Arran's west coast, with a sandy beach just 100 yards away. Westfield benefits from a fully equipped, farmhouse style Kitchen/Dining room, Large Lounge with TV, DVD and Cinema Sound, FREE WiFi. Off road parking. Ideal family accommodation. Somewhere to relax and unwind.

Westfield benefits from wonderfully proportioned rooms that are bright and airy, with west facing sea views and amazing sunsets to enjoy.
Westfield offers traditional family accommodation in an unspoilt locatiion, with access to the beach, coastal walks and wildlife including Seals, Otters and Red Squirrels on the doorstep. A general stores and post office is just up the road in Pirnmill, along with the excellent 'Lighthouse' restaurant. Attractions in the vicinity are the 'Old Byre Visitor Centre' and the Golf course at Machrie, or the distillery at Lochranza.
Accommodation:
Westfield's farmhouse-style kitchen is well-equipped and large enough to comfortably cater for eight guests. in addition to the modern fan oven (big enough to cook a roast dinner for everyone), there is a halogen hob and an oil-fired Rayburn stove. (As well as being an oven, the stove also warms the room and supplies hot water.) There is also a dishwasher, washing machine / tumble dryer, microwave oven and fridge freezer. Towels and tea towels are provided. Other items include an iron, ironing board, rotary washing line and clothes-pegs. A high chair, travel cot and safety gate for the stairs are also supplied.
Westfield's light and airy living room is spacious and well-proportioned, with two comfortable full size sofas and easy chairs. For those cooler evenings, the wood-burning stove makes it extra-toasty. There is Free broadband, plus a large 42″ plasma TV with Freeview, Cinema Sound and a DVD player with a selection of DVD’s. An i-pod docking station and charging point is also available. There is a selection of books and games for traditional family entertainment.
Bedrooms: Westfield has four bedrooms, sleeping 7 + baby. There are two doubles, one twin and one single.
In addition, there is a travel cot and space in the main double to turn it into a family room. All bedding (excluding cot bedding), towels and linen are provided. (Please bring your own beach towels.) A hairdryer is also available.
Family Bathroom with Bath and Electric shower over. Shower Room with corner shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
The Grounds: In front of Westfield is off-road parking for two to three vehicles. A door from the sitting room leads outside to a gravelled seating area at the side of the house. From there, steps lead to the raised garden behind the house from where there are panoramic views across the Kilbrannan Sound to the Mull of Kintyre. Please note, that due to this being an older, traditional property the inside staircase and steep garden may make it unsuitable for the old and infirm.
The Grounds
In front of Westfield is off-road parking for three vehicles. A door from the sitting room leads outside to a gravelled seating area at the side of the house. From there, steps lead to the raised garden behind the house from where there are panoramic views across the Kilbrannan Sound to the Mull of Kintyre.
