In the tiny hamlet of Enochdhu in the heart of Highland Perthshire, two luxury self-catering cottages just for couples. Nestled amongst the hills between Pitlochry and Blairgowrie and only half an hour from Glenshee, whether you're looking for an active break or peace, tranquility and relaxation Tallavey offers the perfect retreat: a Highland escape from the pressures of modern life.
Tallavey Cottages have been exclusively designed for couples only, with an emphasis on quality and privacy. Built around 1870, the original steading was part of a Highland Estate croft and has undergone significant renovation by the owners and now represents one of the most luxurious self-catering experiences in Scotland. Each cottage is around 90m2 and offers empire size beds with White Company linen and soft furnishings by Anta Scotland.
Each cottage has its own outdoor hot tub where you can relax under the stars and see the milky way - and if you're lucky the northern lights! Both cottages are equipped with indoor saunas; the perfect way to chill out after a day hiking, biking or on the slopes.
We place a strong emphasis on sustainability and are proud holders of a Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold Award. Both cottages are EPC A rated for environmental impact and we have EV charging points for both our cottages.
Each cottage is available on a minimum 3 night stay basis. We regret that we are unable to accommodate children, infants or pets. Tigh-na-Croft and Tallavey Cottages are entirely smoke free environments. A description of the cottages and their facilities can be found in our accessibility guide.
Tallavey Cottages are situated approximately 10 miles from Pitlochry along the A924, 2 miles from Kirkmichael.
Tallavey Cottages are approximately 2 hours from all of Scotland's major airports (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness); 20 mins from Pitlochry station (mainline trains to London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness); and on local bus routes to Dundee and Perth via Blairgowrie.
