Our luxury holiday cottages offer perfect accommodation for secluded cottage breaks when staying at our self-catering country cottages. This is a large, spacious country cottage with private hot tub and its’ own private entrance. It is tucked away in a beautiful rural, secluded location on Carfrae Farm in East Lothian. We have a range of outdoor activities such as wild swimming, guided hill walks, foraging, bushcraft etc, these can be booked via our own website at Carfrae Farm. It is a perfect location to relax & explore the wide open spaces of the countryside. And we are ‘Good to Go' with the badge of approval from Visit Scotland.
Gather around a feast inside or outside sharing time with family or friends, cosy up in front of the wood burning stove or join in one of our activities. Enjoy the many walking paths around the farm and in the are or take a stroll around the Danskine Loch. If you enjoy a challenging cycle hire a bike to cycle around the area. The surrounding roads were used by Iron Man Triathlon in 2017 and 2018 as the technically challenging route for cycling! There are several lovely coastal towns & villages to explore & all this within only 20 miles of Edinburgh.
