Hillhouse Farm Escapes is a wonderful place to stay if you're looking for self-catering cottages in a rural location with easy access to the villages and towns of the Scottish Borders as well a Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh. We have 4 cottages on our working sheep farm, each sleeping 4-6 guests. Family friendly and pet friendly.
Guests can make use of extensive walking routes, cycle routes and an excellent tennis court on site. We welcome individuals, couples, families and groups to our cottages.
There is one pub/restaurant within easy walking distance of the farm - Carfraemill. We can recommend lots of other great places to eat and shop in the local area, as well as plenty of things to do. Visitors to this part of Scotland can take in dramatic landscapes, coastline, whisky distilleries, craft beer producers, museums, galleries and outstanding Scottish produce.
