Balmeadowside offer dog friendly accommodation with private hot tubs including thirteen self catering holiday lodges, five beautiful country cottages and a large Farmhouse set on the south-facing slopes of a working farm, all with amazing views of the surrounding Fife countryside.
LUXURY SELF CATERING LODGES. LOG CABINS AND COTTAGES IN FIFE
Our Lodges and Cottages;
We have a total of nineteen self catering lodges and cottages at Balmeadowside each with private hot tubs in Fife, Scotland.
Our four Tree Lodges each sleep 4 as do our 5 Bird & Owl Lodges whilst our four Wildwood Lodges each sleep 2.
We have three cottages at Balmeadowside with the added luxury of a wood burning stove. Cherry Blossom Cottage and Maple Cottage each sleep 2 with a superking four poster bed. Rowan Tree Cottage sleeps 4, has some of the best views at Balmeadowside and a large enclosed garden. We then have a further two cottages with enclosed gardens at Parbroath Farm, Balmeadowside, Cannich Cottage and East Cottage each sleeping 4.
For a larger group we have The Farmhouse sleeping 8 with a wood burning stove and games room.
Most of our properties at Balmeadowside are also dog friendly.
The Area;
All of our cottages and lodges are set on the south-facing slopes of a working farm, with amazing views of the surrounding Fife countryside.
Relax in your lodge or cottage complete with your own private hot tub, enjoy the farm walks or explore the surrounding area.
Many of our guests simply enjoy the farm, relaxing in their private hot tub; a retreat to get away from it all. However there are also several farm walks and local hills for climbing, beaches to explore at Leuchars, St Andrews and the East Neuk or shopping and sightseeing with St Andrews, Dundee and Perth all in easy reach.
If you love wildlife you will also spot plenty of animal activity in and around Balmeadowside with Roe Deer, Rabbits, Pheasants, Owls, Birds of Prey often spotted along with Ducks, Swans and Herons often seen on our ponds. You can also explore Balmeadowside and see what's happening with our resident livestock Sheep, Cattle, Red Deer and Llamas.
Dog Friendly Accommodation;
Many of us at Solid Luxury are dog owners and know how important it is to be able to go on holiday with the whole family! Most of our lodges and cottages are dog friendly at Balmeadowside (Mountain Ash Lodge is our pet free lodge) and our walks are perfect for exercising your pups. All of our properties are gated allowing your dog in and out of your lodge or cottage freely without worrying about them running away.
