1 Belltower is a stylish riverside flat for two in a former church on a quiet street by the River Ness. This historic listed building sits in a commanding riverside position and couldn't be handier for accessing the city centre and the many excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Parking is available either right outside or using our parking permit. Arriving by car or public transport is simple, and we provide comprehensive directions. You will be very comfortable here and very welcome!

1 Belltower is a comfortable and welcoming base for two people, right by the River Ness, on a quiet street but conveniently central. In a well-designed church conversion, this characterful home from home has everything you need for an enjoyable visit to the Highland capital. Through the unique arched windows you can enjoy watching the river flowing by and look across to the castle and up or down the river. The iconic Victorian pedestrian bridge right outside brings you across the river into the historic city centre in a couple of minutes.

The flat has an ensuite bedroom with a king-sized bed. The bedroom and bathroom are downstairs, and the spacious livingroom is upstairs, as is a second toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped, though with great restaurants and pubs close by you have many options for eating out.

The location is perfect to explore and make the most of the amenities of the historic city centre. If the shops, museum, galleries and fascinating old buildings don't take your fancy, there are local walks along the river to the Ness Islands or to the Caledonian Canal, the botanic gardens or a nature reserve. Bus tours will take you to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Inverness now has its own wee distillery, and there are many well-known distilleries not far away. You can go on dolphin-watching boat trips on the Moray and Beauly Firths.

We have a small library with a selection of Scottish-themed books, including two on Inverness's history. Fast broadband and a dedicated work space enable you to keep in touch while you're away from home. There is a smart TV with Freeview and a good selection of channels. You can also use your Netflix etc accounts. We provide lots of useful local information.

1 Belltower is handy for exploring the city and as a base for touring the Scottish Highlands. It is easy to get to by road, rail, bus and by air. There are six free parking spaces right outside the building, and if these are all taken, we provide a parking permit for neighbouring streets.
