Old Whitehill Bed and Breakfast has one large open plan bright and spacious Double room. We provide a continental style breakfast ( in the kitchenette) for you to prepare at a time that is convenient to you.
Welcome to Old Whitehill B&B privately owned and run by the Gayfer family. Located a mile outside the village of Aberdour with stunning views across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh. Semi detached from the main house with its own entrance, the ground floor stone building was originally an old dairy. It is now a large open plan, bright and spacious studio room that has recently been refurbished. The accommodation offers a comfortable double bed (extra pillows in wardrobe) with bedside tables on either side of the bed, each with bedside lamp, a double wardrobe with full length mirror and a sofa bed and/or Z-bed that could sleep another person or two if requested. There is a flat screen TV/ DVD player, with Freeview. The fully equipped kitchenette (in a large floor to ceiling cupboard) has a microwave, silent mini fridge, a toaster, an electric kettle and complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate.There is an en suite shower room with toilet, power shower, wash basin and a heated towel rail. Hair dryer provided. We supply a continental style breakfast allowing our guests the freedom of preparing breakfast at their leisure in the comfort of their own room. Set on the edge of the Cullaloe Hills, our location is perfect for those who want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside but be within easy reach of Edinburgh which is only 30 minutes away by train from Aberdour Station. Edinburgh airport is less than half an hour away. Perth and the Highlands are in easy reach via the M90.
TransportYour own transport is recommended to get to Old Whitehill. There is off road parking in our large drive, however if necessary we can pick up/drop off at the train station in Aberdour.
Old Whitehill is situated just off the B9157 in a beautiful peaceful rural setting, outside the attractive and interesting coastal village of Aberdour in Fife, Scotland.
