Spacious, comfortable well equipped detached farm cottage with wonderful scenic views of South Ayrshire countryside. Parking available for 2 vehicles. Ideal location for families, walkers, golfers and fishers.
Situated on a traditional Scottish working beef and sheep farm. The cottage was the former Dairy House dating back to 1860, where butter and cheese was made from the milk produced by the dairy herd. This location in South Ayrshire is ideal for country pursuits. Close to the small friendly coastal village of Ballantrae with good local amenities. Including grocery shop with Post Office, hotel with restaurant, garden centre, medical practice, garage(fuel available 24 hours), tearoom and cafe. Children's playpark, harbour, beach, tennis courts and bowling green are also located in the village. Pebbles SPA is approx 10 minutes drive from the cottage.
The property sleeps 6. Within the cottage, we have 2 upstairs bedrooms providing spacious accommodation for our guests. One family room with a kingsize and a single bed and the second bedroom also a family room with a double and a single bed. Both rooms have hanging space, chest of drawers and shelving.
On the ground floor there is a large comfortable lounge leading from the entrance hallway. This has feature fireplace, large window seat overlooking the country views, sky television with dvd player as well as comfortable seating.
Large fully equipped dining kitchen, electric cooker, washing machine, fridge and microwave. All crockery and cutlery included.
Downstairs bathroom with with power shower.. Back door area has hooks for outdoor clothing. Small utility room with tumble dryer and freezer.
Large lawned area with seating. A lockable shed is available for storage of bikes, outdoor clothing, fishing rods etc on request. Oil fired central heating throughout the cottage included in the price.
Duvets, duvet covers, bedlinen, towels and teatowels are also included in the rental price.
