Celebrate our local community and Gaelic language with good food and great craic at our Gaelic lunches.
Our lunches take place periodically through the year and offer a social space to speak, practice and learn Gaelic. Whether you are a fluent speaker, learner or beginner, all are welcome to attend our lunch gatherings.
What to expect:
On arrival at the Museum, our friendly staff and volunteers will direct you to the lunch gathering space - usually in Am Brd Cafe or over the road at the Outdoor Museum space
Enjoy a delicious meal accompanied with Gaelic words and conversation to listen to or try out yourself
Some events may include an informal or spontaneous performance/sharing of traditional music and songs
Accessibility:
Bilingual English-Gaelic prompt cards will be available to help you speak, practiceand learn Gaelic in a relaxed setting.
This event includes a food course. Please indicate any dietary requirements on booking.
