Fabulous large Victorian double upper apartment located in the heart of Newington, whose parks / cafes / bars and shops make it a favourite district of Edinburgh. The stylish property is ideally placed to enjoy the best of Edinburgh's festival and fringe attractions with the minimum of hassle. Many of the main venues / attractions are a stone's throw from the flat, and others, like the castle, Royal Mile and the main shopping areas are easily reached on foot in less than 20 minutes or around 10 minutes by using the frequent bus service which stops outside the door and takes you directly into the heart of the central shopping area.
The apartment was redecorated in 2013 and 2014, and although it has been tastefully modernised it retains many attractive period features, such as original fireplaces, working shutters, ornamental balconies and decorative cornicing. It is a perfect for larger families / groups who are looking for a base from which to explore the city.
