Wake up to a stunning sunrise east over the bay and soak up the views and weather change throughout the day through floor-to-ceiling windows, south to Coll Sands and rare reeds beds. This peaceful haven is in a great island location to explore its history, culture and wildlife. End the day on the wraparound deck with a glass of wine as the sun sets west over the moors.
This stunning, low-impact property, built 5 years ago, is a modern take on traditional Hebridean houses, settled in its surroundings, but with contemporary design and energy-conscious technology to make your stay a pleasure. EPC rating: AA - the first in the Outer Hebrides to achieve this when our Lewis Longhouse was built.
An award-winning, spacious holiday home for one or two couples, or a family of 4, it is fully equipped to the highest standard. Superfast wifi available. This is a substantial and luxurious house designed to be the perfect holiday home from home with a roomy, double–height open plan living area, two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a quiet relaxing area upstairs with viewing balcony. Underfloor heating keeps oak floors warm underfoot and a multi-fuel stove keeps you cosy even in the wildest weather. The kitchen area and separate utility rooom are well stocked to make eating in a pleasure, with induction hob, ovens, wine chillers and fridge, oh and a dishwasher to make tidying up a little easier.
Both bedrooms face south to make the most of the views. The master suite with superking bed, has a wet-room style ensuite. The second bedroom (superking or twin) sits across from the bathroom which offers a relaxing bath and separate shower.
