Arguably one of the best views in Broughty Ferry! Beautiful views from the south facing balcony of this modern, self catering apartment in the picturesque fishing village of Broughty Ferry near to Dundee and golf at St Andrews and Carnoustie.
Beachfront Apartment with south facing balcony and uninterrupted sea views. Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms - 1 double and 2 twin. Shower room en-suite to double bedroom and bathroom with over bath shower. Non smoking and not suitable for pets. TV and Internet access. Car not essential but convenient for days out.
Modern first floor apartment in architect designed block of only 7 flats. Off road parking space available close to entrance which has video entry phone. Stair and lift/elevator access right to front door. All on one level, the apartment opens in to a spacious hall. The double master bedroom with ensuite shower room has a wall of windows with French doors opening on to a south facing balcony with glass balustrade to provide uninterrupted views over the River Tay. Sit here and watch the sunsets over the Tay road and rail bridges or watch the swans on the pebble beach a stones throw from the balcony. You can sit all day and watch kayaking, jet skiing, yachts and ships passing, people eating ice cream from the renowned Italian ice cream cafe round the corner or, in the summer, the tourist train. You may even spot dolphins in the water round Broughty Ferry castle.
There are 2 twin bedded rooms which share a family bathroom with overbath shower. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes with large amounts of hanging, shelving and drawer space.
A well equipped kitchen with gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, oven, microwave oven and breakfast bar has glass doors opening on to large south facing lounge/diner. The views can therefore be enjoyed even while preparing food as the lounge/diner has French doors to a Juliet balcony. A dining table to seat 6 is situated close to the kitchen and there are comfortable lounge chairs for 6 people.
There is multichannel TV, DVD and video players and BT Infinity Hub WiFi access. Hall storage contains an iron,ironing board and games for all the family. There is an outside clothes dryer next to the car park. The apartment is centrally heated with radiators in each room and limitless hot water from the Combi boiler.
Broughty Ferry was originally a fishing village and the whitewashed fishermen's cottages remain, along with the harbour, pier and castle which now houses a Museum. The pebble beach directly in front of the apartment looks over to Tayport and the beaches of Tentsmuir in Fife. Round the corner is a long sandy beach and children's playpark with crazy golf. Walk in the other direction and follow the river to the Yacht club. There are many cafes, restaurants, pubs and boutique and gift shops within a short walk (as well as Visocchi's Ice Cream Cafe) to suit all budgets and a small grocer shop with all the essentials at the back gate of the car park.
