Full of character and with many original features, Achnasmeorach House caters for all age groups with plenty of living space and a large garden making it perfect for special occasions, family gatherings and groups of friends. The elegant and richly decorated drawing room with its sumptuous seating and wood burning stove has double height glazed doors which open into a delightful and comfortably furnished sun room boasting stunning loch views. From here, French doors lead out to the front terrace and garden - perfect for summertime drinks and barbeques. The superbly equipped large open-plan kitchen and dining room is the perfect spot for gathering and with an open fire at one end and AGA at the other this inviting room keeps warm throughout the seasons. Memorable dinners can be enjoyed around the large table with spectacular view to the loch and for those wishing to play games or watch television there is a second family sitting room. The original sweeping staircase gives a traditional country house ambience and all the bedrooms have spectacular loch or mountain views and offer comfortable and flexible accommodation suitable for family groups, children and adults alike.
Perhaps the highlight of Achnasmeorach House is when you discover its shoreline just yards from the front door. This is a glorious setting with a private bay beach allowing you to fully relax and soak up the unforgettable views. Day long barbeques and picnics can be enjoyed on the decking around the smart boathouse and children will delight at the opportunity to play games on the large lawn area, jump off the pier or take advantage of the private fishing rights on the loch. The jetty and slipway are ideal for those who wish to bring their own boat or canoe and boats can also be rented nearby. For walkers there are some lovely walks direct from the house or along the lochside road or to the surrounding hills.
