As you walk out through your folding french doors on a large decking area with new sunken Arestian Hot Springs hot tub, imagine sinking into to the tub with your Prosecco & glasses to hand whilst enjoying the stunning views of the Northern Lake District Fells & Solway Coastline
In the evening you can sit out under a canopy of stars with dark clear skies, enjoying a luxury hot chocolate , around the fire pit toasting marsh mallows or simply relax in your private hot tub, followed by a sauna & recharge after visiting our many local attractions on offer, as our resident owls watch over you.!
As you would expect on a working farm we have Easycare sheep, Swiss Valasis Blacknose sheep, donkies, shetland ponies, poultry etc which provide our free range organic eggs for you to sample!
The nearby woods offer woodland walks in Heatherybelt wood, part of the Netherby estate, ideal for exploring local area, cycling & many cycle routes,horse riding,salmon fishing on Border Esk river( Longtown, Canonbie,Langholm, Newcastlton beats available), the Swimming Retreat - Croftlandsview approx a mile away,gyro plane Lake district tours flights, flying lessons, pony trekking, riding lessons, clay pigeon shooting, game shooting (when in season) gyro plane Lake Distict tours, (cycle (with local hire & fishing on the Border Esk river available) reknown for sea trout & salmon.
Cycle the Reiver's route or Southern Loop, Route 7, Coast to Coast or for the more adventurous a short drive to Newcastleton 7 stanes.

The lodge is a short drive to the Lake District, South West Solway Coast, Kielder Water, Forest & Observatory, Hermitage Castle & scenic Border towns of Jedburgh,& Melrose with their famous abbeys & Floors Castle at Kelso. #Pheasant Lodge enjoys a peaceful, quiet rural environment, yet is within easy access from the M74/M6 Ideal for wedding guests attending wddings at Gretna Green, Skitby House & Hidden River Cabins, both a short drive away.
