Welcome to Low Moor Head Caravan Park, an Award winning, Adults only Certificate Location site, open all year, available exclusively to members of the Caravan & Motor Home Club members. Nestled just outside the Anglo-Scottish frontier town of Longtown, within easy access from M6, M74 & M75, in the hamlet of Easton, this quiet, tranquil, rural site, is the perfect stop over, or base to explore, two UNESCO World Hertiage Sites, The Lake District & Northumbria National Park,Hadrian's Wall , in addition to the Solway Coast ,Scottish Border towns & Historic Carlisle.
Over looking the stunning Northern Lake District Fells, Geltdale & beyond, with all hardstanding super pitches, heated shower & disabled WC facilities, free WiFi, easy access to site, excellent TV reception, recycling & information area, cycle racks, picnic tables & parasols for the summer months, car park & complimentary organic, free range eggs! .
Low Moor Head CL was awarded second place in the National Caravan Club Certificated Location of the year 2013 & winner in 2017 CLof the Year Awards. Situated in the heart of the once troubled Debatable Lands of Reiver country, Low Moor Head's wooded backdrop of Heathery Belt wood, part of the Netherby Estate,offers a peaceful,tranquil, rural location for you to relax & enjoy your stay. Gentle woodland walks are available from the door & ideal for dog walk, or along the river Esk in wetter times.. For the more energetic, why not visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall, swimming, fishing ( day permits on private beat of Border Esk available) cycling, walking, horse riding, Gyro plane tours of the Lake District. & many other outdoor pursuits.Cycle hire from 'Bike Seven', in town, we have secure cycle storage & wash. Cycle the Reiver's route, Route 7, Coast tot Coast,Southern Borders Loop or a short drive to Newcastleton 7 stanes.
Newly opened The Swimming Retreat Croftlands view, is a mile from Low Moor Head, & a multi gym is available in Longtown Community Centre.

Alternatively Reiver's Retreat our luxury Shepherds Hut, with ensuite shower room, heated towel rail, heating, double couch Hypnos bed, fully equipped kitchen , Belfast sink, 2 x ceramic hob, oven & grill, firdge freezer etc, log burning stove, out door dinning area, furniture & private wood-fired hot tub, with fabulous views of quiet open countryside!. Pheasant Lodge - Scottish Borders, our luxury Norwegian Lodge with private Arestian Hot Springs jacuzzi hot tub & sauna, Couples retreat for Honey Moon, Minin Moon, weekend, Mid -week breaks , Birthdays,Hoildays Anniversary, bespoke packages available, as we can accommodate our guests ,who are not caravaners, but wish to join friends.! (Please note all our accommodation is for couples only, child free & pet free)
A short walk in Longtown, of just over a mile with gretna bakery, Kirkups Butchers, Spar, Esk cafe Fish & Chip shop, pizza, sandwich shops, Spice Fusion Bangladesishi, take away, in addtion to the Graham's Arms Hotel ,Sycamore Cafe, pubs, laundrette, Post office ATM etc. down the road. The Lake District, North Pennines, Kielder Water forest & observatory,Hadrian's Wall, Solway Coast,Southern Uplands & England's great Border City, Carlisle, with its Castle, Cathedral & Tullie House art Gallery/Museum, waiting to be discovered.

We have a number of animals & pets on this working farm from commercial 'Easy Care @eco sheep, we don 't have to clip them, but it provides the local bird life with luxury nests,, Valais Blacknose flock, sheltland ponies, donkies, owls, peahen & poultry, which all live here too. We have an enviroment policy in place & strive to implement this continually.
