We specialise in guided hikes & mountain biking itineraries making a part of our personalized tours in the Cairngorms National Park and the rest of the Highlands, generally including off-the-beaten track sites and hikes.
We are a small family business situated in the Highlands in Scotland, founded and run by my husband Andy and myself, Rebecca.
We offer guided & self-guided hiking/mountain biking itineraries and personalized tours in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and all over Scotland, generally including off-the-beaten track sites and hikes throughout the Highlands.
Our tailor-made itineraries offer active challenges for every grade and reflect Scotland's different aspects through immersing our guests in nature and the culture of Scotland.
In addition, now for almost 20 years, Andy has been sharing his outdoor and wildlife knowledge as an official guide and has an comprehensive understanding of the local environment.
We can offer private guiding for groups not staying with us, but the more complete experience comes from staying with us in our cottage, Fraoch Lodge, which is also our home. The food including homemade and fresh meals are also a specific feature of the Scot Mountain Holidays experience. Thus, travelling with us means having a warm homestay and being as close as possible to the local experts.
