In the court of the Austrian Emperor Joseph II, Antonio Salieri is the established composer. Enter the greatest musical genius of all time: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Salieri has pledged himself to God so that he might realize his sole ambition, to be a great composer. Mozart is a foul-mouthed, obscene little man who has that which is beyond Salieris envious grasp: Genius.
In this new production by Strawmoddie Theatre, in collaboration with The Pianodrome, see Peter Shaffer's greatest play performed as never before: in an amphitheatre made of pianos! With live music and opulent 18th century costumes, revisit one of the greatest plays of the 20th century.

Due to the size of the venue, we can only accommodate one wheelchair space per performance. Those audience members who can transfer from a wheelchair to a bench are of course welcome as well. Disabled parking is available.
The venue is served by several local buses; numbers 9, 16 and 22. Signs and Front of House assistants will be in place to direct people from bus stops to the venue itself.The seating is formed of backless benches, and while cushions are provided, we advise audience members bring what they might need for their comfort. The venue can be be cold and so we recommend dressing accordingly.
