Thainstone House Hotel is a grand and elegant 18th century palladian country mansion in Inverurie, in rural Aberdeenshire. It is set in 44 acres of private parkland.
The Green Lady restaurant serves a fine selection of local produce. Or try Stockman's Bar for snacks and hearty bar food including juicy steaks – sometimes from our own Crerar herd. It’s popular with residents and locals alike.
Our leisure club includes a heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and well-equipped gym. The spa offers a wide range of luxury ishga spa and beauty treatments: full body massage, cleansing facials, manicures and pedicures.
About 16 miles from Aberdeen and ten from the airport, with good links by rail and road, we’re perfectly placed for both short breaks and special events. We have a variety of spaces, from a large ballroom to intimate drawing rooms, which are suited to a wide variety of gatherings. We also have the Club room, the Lairds room, and our tongue-in-cheek Boy’s Room, with its risqué magazine covers and posters, 1970s juke box and 1980s ‘Space invaders’ arcade game.
Golfers have plenty of choices nearby: we’re two miles from Inverurie Golf Club, six from Kemnay, and eight from Oldmedldrum.
