We are a cosy, warm independent hideaway with integrity, nestled in the hills. Friendly and informal with a big heart. Ego free and peaceful. Sink into alpine cosiness and relaxation at this architecturally award-winning cabin for two where we make you breakfast and light the fire on the wood fired hot tub and get it to the perfect temperature for you.
We offer you time to unwind, recharge and relax in understated luxury. And you are the only guests here.
We are totally sustainable too as we are completely off grid. We make our own electricity through solar and we have our own beautiful spring water.
Alpnhaus is away from the hustle and bustle, providing the ideal location for total relaxation.
Dog friendly and child free, just for adults.
Location
We are situated high on a gorgeous stretch of road with wonderful views, great for cycling. There are beautiful walks, mountain bike trails, landscapes to paint, wildlife, fresh air, little villages to explore and only about 55 miles from Edinburgh.
We are remote, so you have to bring your own transport. Whether you arrive on a bicycle or by helicopter, there is no public transport!
