Bedrooms- Two ground floor guest rooms with modern en-suite facilities, are warm and comfortable. One twin room and one with king size bed. Both are equipped with TV, tea and coffee-making facilities.

Gairloch makes a perfect holiday base, and is an ideal spot for hill walking, birdwatching, fishing, or just relaxing. It has a 9-hole golf course, safe sandy beaches, and is close to the beautiful National Trust Garden at Inverewe.
Gairloch offers many places to wine, dine and shop as well as being set amidst some of the best hill-walking areas in Scotland from the Torridon Mountains and the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve in the South, to Assynt further north.
Boat trips of all types are available for sailing around local islands, sea-angling or watching for marine wildlife including seals, whales and porpoises. Other popular local attractions include a number of unspoilt sandy beaches, a pony-trekking centre, and the award-winning Gairloch Heritage Museum.
There are sports and fitness facilities available at Gairloch Leisure Centre and an indoor swimming pool in the nearby village of Poolewe.

Getting here by Road:-
From South
Take the A9 North from Inverness, then via the A9/A835 to Garve. After Garve turn left - west on the A832 to Achnasheen, Kinlochewe and continue North on the A832 to Gairloch. Drive through the village (past harbour, golf course, Gairloch hotel). Turn left at junction sign posted to Melvaig - B8021. See below directions to Muldoanich
From North
Take the A835 from Ullapool, turn right on to the A832 and continue South to Gairloch. Turn right On entering the village at junction sign posted to Melvaig - B8021.

Getting there by railway:- For rail travellers, there is a railway station at Achnasheen which is some 29 miles from Gairloch. There are local taxi and bus services operating in Gairloch
Getting there by aeroplane:- For those wishing to travel here by air, Inverness Airport is some 77 miles from Gairloch and car hire is readily available either from the airport or from Inverness itself. The drive from the airport to Gairloch is comparatively easy, mostly on good roads, and normally takes less than 2 hours.
