The town is also home to the Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery, where visitors can take a tour, sample Scotland’s famous whisky, and learn about traditional distilling methods. It’s the perfect place to pick up locally made crafts or enjoy a coffee while soaking in the friendly, creative atmosphere.
The wider local area boasts excellent year-round attractions, including farmers' markets, Highland Games, traditional Scottish music festivals, and walking festivals for the active visitor. With so many attractions nearby, each day promises a fantastic adventure or an opportunity for further exploration. Attractions include Glenturret Distillery in Crieff, Scotland’s oldest working distillery where visitors can also enjoy the Michelin-starred Glenturret Lalique Restaurant, which offers a dynamic selection of eclectic seasonal dishes and bar lunches.
Outdoor enthusiasts will feel right at home here, with plenty for everyone to enjoy. There are numerous hiking and walking trails, including the popular ascent of Ben Vrackie for breathtaking views and the scenic Killiecrankie Pass along the River Garry.
