Getting to Kinnoull (from Tarbert):
From Tarbert Ferry Terminal, follow a sign for the A859 to Stornoway - but only for about 100 yards.
Then take the first right-hand turn signposted for Scott Road - this road is immediately beside the Harris Hotel.
The road heads up a hill and Kinnoull is the last house on the right-hand side just before the post box.

Getting to Kinnoull (from Stornoway):
From Stornoway, Tarbert is approximately 45 miles south on the A859 - follow signs for the A859 to Tarbert/ South Harris.
Once in Tarbert, take a left-hand turn signposted for Scott Road - this road is immediately beside the Harris Hotel.
The road heads up a hill and Kinnoull is the last house on the right-hand side just before the post box.
