House by the Sea
Traditional cottage right by the sea in Brevig Bay,with open fire in vaulted lounge where you can unwind. Enjoy barbecues on the rocks whilst watching the Otters, go fishing or boating from the bay.
Our lovely cottage has a large lounge which overlooks beautiful Brevig Bay. A window seat provides the perfect vantage point to watch for otters and seals, which frequent the bay. Plenty of comfortable seating around the wood burning stove make this an ideal spot to enjoy a glass of wine after a day out at one of the many stunning white beaches around Barra. There is a TV, DVD player and a well stocked book shelf and games cupboard.
A large, well equipped kitchen has a dining area off it, and a large utility room has a washer and drier. Two double bedrooms and a twin bedded room are served by a shower room and a bathroom. The garden goes down to the rocks by the sea and sheep are often found around the cottage.
Across the bay, which is around a five minute walk, there is a slip way from where boats, dinghy scan be launched. Parking is available on the road about 50 metres from the property. On the other side of the property is a gate which leads directly onto the peninsula where you can walk. Otters and cubs have been seen playing along the shore line here, sometimes for over an hour at a time!
All electricity, linen, bath towels and beach towels are included in the rent. Wi-fi free.
