Comrie Comrie
Located to the west of Perth and only 30 minutes north of Gleneagles, Comrie is a quaint little village that is home to stunning scenery and landscapes to enjoy. There's Comrie Croft which offers plenty of walking, cycling, mountain biking and adventures. Explore waymarked walking routes or hire bikes and explore the winding trails before stopping by the Tea Garden for refreshment. Nearby Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre houses a variety of exotic and more familiar wildlife.

Dunkeld Dunkeld
Perched on the banks of the River Tay, Dunkeld is a picturesque village that features brightly coloured 'little houses' which date back to the early 1700s and a majestic - partly ruined - cathedral. It's also the perfect starting point for venturing out into the Perthshire wilderness and exploring nearby attractions including The Hermitage, a forested grove overlooking the Black Linn waterfall, and Loch of the Lowes. This 98-hectare reserve is home to a pair of breeding ospreys, as well as red squirrels, woodpeckers and a variety of other wildlife.
Please be mindful of others when visiting The Hermitage and park responsibly, avoiding parking busy or dangerous roads, including the A9. There's a car park on site, but if it's full please consider coming back another time or exploring elsewhere in Big Tree Country.

Comprised of the central and east coast areas of Perthshire, Fife, Angus, and Dundee, this spot on the map sits between Edinburgh and Aberdeen, making it an easy place to get to by car, bus, train or plane.

Dundee Dundee
Explore the historic and artistic side of the City of Dundee with attractions such as the V&A Dundee, McManus Art Gallery & Museum, and the RRS Discovery, or uncover the scenic gems of the surrounding region of Angus, including the Angus Glens, Glamis Castle and Arbroath Abbey, to name a few. It's a diverse region, so in the morning you could be shopping 'til you drop, and by the afternoon you could be scaling of one ten Munros in the Angus Glens.
Dundee is only 35 minutes away by car, so it makes for a great day out!

Cupar Cupar
Located alongside the small River Eden and surrounded by gentle hills, Cupar was once a bustling market centre. Today, this picturesque town has retained much of its medieval character.
Visit the Hill of Tarvit, an Edwardian mansion 2 miles south of the town that was remodelled by Sir Robert Lorimer. The house contains an impressive collection of 18th century Chippendale and French furniture, Dutch paintings, Chinese porcelain and a restored Edwardian laundry. During the summer, visitors can play lawn tennis, croquet and putting on the only dedicated hickory golf course in the UK. The Scottish Deer Centre is also nearby.

St Andrews St Andrews
Take time to roam the pretty university town of St Andrews, taking in the castle, admiring the impressive ruined cathedral and, of course, hitting the famous West Sands beach! It's perfect for a bracing walk; or should you feel a little parched, then make your way to Eden Mill, craft producers of both beer and gin, for a tour and a tasting. You can also visit Kingsbarns Distillery, one of the country's newest distilleries.
Head down to Pittenweem on the service X60 bus from St Andrews, only taking 30 minutes and passing by stunning scenery. The town is also located along the Fife Coastal Path which offers a picturesque route around the coastal towns and villages of Fife.
