Over The Sea to Skye
Private tour over the sea to Skye from Inverness. This fully lets you explore the Highlands and Islands of Scotland in only one day.
Your guide will meet you at your Inverness hotel at 8:00am and the journey across the sea to Skye begins. As we travel to Skye we pass by Eilean Donan as a photo stop visit or there is the option to tour inside. Next stop is another one of Scotland's scenic castles right by the water, Dunvegan Castle & Gardens. This is the only highland castle to have been occupied for over 800 years. While still discovering Skye we will see Portree, which is a beautiful seaside town with colourful houses throughout the village making for amazing seaside photo opportunities. We will also visit Old Man of Storr and Cuillin Mountains, amazing locations on Skye to show the true picture of the Scottish Highlands. Finally we visit Kilt Rock before returning to Inverness, this rock has a waterfall that has carved in the shape of a kilt to the side of the cliff.
