Arthur's Seat Sunset Hike
Watch the Sun set over Edinburgh with a qualified Mountain Leader
Arthur's Seat is Edinburgh's highest hill. It sits at the centre of Holyrood Park, with its summit 251 m (823 ft) above sea level.
You will meet your guide at the end of the Royal Mile - the main street in Edinburgh's historic Old Town - and pass the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the King's official residence in Scotland.
The sounds of the city quickly disappear as we enter the park and begin to scale the hill. We avoid the crowds as we take a scenic route, with plenty of chances to stop, admire the view, hear the birdsong, and immerse yourself in this tranquil natural landscape.
Your guide will lead you up a safe route to the summit, as there are many paths to choose from.
On a clear day, the summit offers a 360 degree panoramic view of the city, the castle, the sea, and the hills beyond.
