Ullapool Food Tours
Come on one of our scrumptious food tours and get a taste of Ullapool's cuisine. With each bite and sip, you will dive deeper into the local culture, cuisine and history while having a fabulous time.
If you are looking for a great way to sample a variety of local food and drink in an authentic setting, our Ullapool Food Tours are perfect for you. Both tours have been carefully curated to combine some of our favourite mouthwatering dishes and drinks from welcoming local venues with an engaging itinerary and expert guidance. On our leisurely walk through the village, your guide will highlight the Scottish producers and connections to Ullapool of the food and drink we get to enjoy. Our food tours not only showcase the delicious local cuisine, but also the outstanding scenery of Ullapool as well as its stories and history. All of our tours are private.
FLAVOURS OF ULLAPOOL (3.5 h, min. 3 people)
We will visit 5 local venues on this tour, with a sit-in in one of them. The other stops are picnic-style at sites with lovely views. You will get to taste Highland cheeses and charcuterie, coffee/tea/soft drink and cake, a dish of seafood or other goodies with beer/wine/soft drink/water, fish & chips, and a choice of local gin/beer/whisky/cider (the latter can be consumed during the tour or taken home, non-alcoholic options available). We will have some small surprises in store as well.
Prices start from £90 per person and depend on the size of your group.
A TASTE OF ULLAPOOL (2 h, min. 2 people)
If you have less time to spare, we offer a shorter food tour as well. We will visit 3 local venues on this tour, with all stops being picnic-style al-fresco eating/drinking at scenic spots. You will get to taste Highland cheeses and charcuterie and we will finish off the tours with a choice of local gin/beer/whisky/cider (to be consumed on the tour or taken home, non-alcoholic options available).
Should you opt for a morning tour, the third element will be a taster of haggis/black pudding plus coffe/tea and cake. If you book an afternoon tour, you will get to taste the local fish & chips instead. We will have some small surprises for you on these tours as well.
Prices start from £50 per person and depend on the size of your group.
For both tours, the maximum size of your group is usually 10 people. For larger groups, we are happy to make special arrangements as well, just contact us.
