Time Traveller Tour
On this tour we will travel over 5000 years in just a single day. We will step back in time to visit a neolithic ceremonial site and then slowly move back to the present ending up in the 21st century with no tardis in sight.
COVID Response Activity: We have made some adaptations to all of our tours to add a little more security for all of our guests during the pandemic. Private tours are the best way to limit your contact with other people and improve social distancing but additionally we provide individual hand sanitiser dispensers and disposable face masks, all guests will be required to sanitise hands at each point of entry to our vehicles. Our vehicle comes equipped with our own tables and chairs and packed lunches can be provided on request. Again the aim is to improve our ability for social distancing and maintain our small group "bubble". Our vehicle will be cleaned with disinfectant before and after every tour. We are certified "Good to Go" by the National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
Jump aboard our magic time machine and we will travel 5000 years and still get you back in time to enjoy the rest of your trip around Scotland.
- Starting in the Bathgate Hills we will visit Cairnpapple Hill an ancient ceremonial ground dating back to pre 3000 BC. A fascinating glimpse back to stone-age man.
- We will travel a short distance but take a massive leap forward to around 200 AD and the Roman invasion of Scotland.
- Moving into Stirling we will get some good insights into the wars of independence made famous in TV and Film by "The Outlaw King" and "Braveheart" taking us into the 13th and 14th centuries.
- We will visit the birth place of Mary Queen of Scots and explore the Jacobite Rebellion covering the 16th and 18th centuries before visiting Falkirk where the great engineering feats will bring us back to our time of departure in the present day.
This is a magical tour which will give you a great insight into how our nation was formed and is now still challenging the boundaries of science.
