Over 50% of the total amount of distilleries in Scotland are located in the Moray Speyside region and so often called “Malt Whisky Country”. This perfect weather contributes to the growing of barley which when combined with the water of the River Spey, produces the “Water of Life” usually lighter and sweeter than other Scotch single malts.
