Discover Orkney & Shetland with McKinlay Kidd

Orkney & Shetland Fly-Drive - McKinlay Kidd

Explore the far-flung Northern Isles of Orkney and Shetland on this fly-drive adventure.

Fly north to the distinctive Orkney & Shetland islands and discover Scotland’s Viking and prehistoric past on this six night fly-drive adventure. See mysterious stone circles, experience the atmosphere of dwellings from 5,000 years ago and simply enjoy the contrasting landscapes, seascapes and wildlife.

Your hire car on each island group will give you the opportunity to explore in depth during your stay. The dramatic coastline is never far away, while causeways and short local ferry crossings make trips to neighbouring islands quite possible.
