Edinburgh Whisky Trail
Follow in Alfred Barnard's footsteps and discover the whisky landscape of Edinburgh in the late 1800s.
Our route will take us from Dean Village to Haymarket, covering the history of three of Edinburgh's lost distilleries together with stories of Scotch whisky brands of yesteryear.
At the end of the tour, we'll head to a traditional Edinburgh pub to enjoy four drams - three from the 1960s, 1970s and/or 1980s carefully selected to illustrate the area's wonderful whisky heritage as well as a 'one for the road' dram from the bar.
Each walking tour will last approximately 60 minutes and the whisky tasting afterwards will last approximately 60 minutes.
