Great Scot: Free Walking Tour of Old Aberdeen
A nooks-and-crannies tour of one of the most beautiful parts of Aberdeen. Come hear stories of some Aberdonians who have had an impact on our world of today - even if you have never heard of them.
For over five hundred years, Old Aberdeen has been one of the great centres of learning in the North of Scotland. There can be no better place to celebrate Aberdeen's greatest thinkers, scientists, explorers, inventors and writers. We'll explore the hidden places in this historic burgh, to tell the stories of some great Scots whose achievements did not get the recognition they deserved.
Tour starts outside the King's Museum (Old Townhouse) on the High Street and lasts an hour and a half. Tours are free. Donations are welcome. For up-to-date times, please see our website.
