Edinburgh Walking Tour
This walking tour of up to three hours can be offered in a number of sites within Edinburgh. The Royal Mile, The New Town, The Museums and Art Galleries, Princess street and Gardens, the list goes on. Or if you have something else in mind?
The most popular walking tour is the Royal Mile.
So called because it connects two Royal Palaces, Holyrood Palace at the bottom and Edinburgh Castle at the top.
Starting at the Castle Esplanade and working our way downhill. Passing the writers Museum, the site of public execution and Canonball house all with a great story to tell.
East toward the Lawnmarket and St Giles Cathedral, The Scottish courts and old Scottish Parliament (occasional access available).
Further down passing the many closes we can explore with the site of Deacon Brodie's House and the source of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
Then heading further down till we arrive at the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood House.
Other walking tours include Grassmarket and Greyfriars, Harry Potter Tour, Georgian New town,Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Park,Edinburgh's Museums and Galleries.
Tours range from one to three hours
Admission to individual sites is not normally included in tour price but can be arranged.
