Savour the taste of fine whisky on this part day tour to either Blair Athol or Edradour Distillery. Both are located at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands. Blair Athol is in the picturesque town of Pitlochry, Perthshire whereas Edradour is on the fringe of the town in a lovely little valley hidden away from general view. Both utilise the pure water originating from the slopes of Ben Vrackie, a 2600ft high mountain at the east side of Pitlochry. Edradour is a small, privately owned distillery producing an exclusive selection of whisky whereas Blair Athol is owned by Bells and they produce Whisky on a much larger scale. Please note; during the winter season, normally only Blair Athol remains open. Duration of tour is normally around 5-6 hours allowing you plenty time for a full tour of the distillery and perhaps a lunch stop on route etc. Distillery tours should be pre-booked to avoid disappointment
