Covid-19 Advice:
From 26th April 2021 the studio showroom is again open for visitors implementing Scottish Government guidance. We advise you to make an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome when the front gate is open (normally roughly from 10:30 to 17:00h, Tuesday to Saturday).
Only two individuals of one household (or extended household) are permitted inside the showroom at any one time. This will help ensure appropriate social distancing. If you are unsure if it is safe to enter the showroom, please use the doorbell for attention down on the left side of the building and we will advise.
In Scotland it is currently mandatory to wear a personal face covering in retail spaces. Bring your own or use one provided in the showroom. Please use the hand sanitiser provided when entering the showroom.
Thank you kindly for your patience, understanding and your cooperation.
In the showroom you will find one-off pieces of jewellery, as well as unusual knitted and felted scarves, ponchos, hats and glass objects, all handmade on site. The business is widely known for contemporary and timeless design, meticulous craftsmanship and a dedicated customer service. Commissions and alterations of old jewellery are invited. Advice on repairs and a design service can be provided. All work is centered on or around the human body. Other artistic influences include archaeology, anthropology and the location of the studio on a Caithness hunting estate steeped in Highland traditions.
All work in the showroom is for sale; payment is accepted in cash, cheque, card and per digital transfer. Patricia is available for talks about jewellery, body adornment, studio glass and related topics.
The studio is normally open all year for walk-ins, ideally by appointment, and is located at the very bottom of the Berriedale Braes in a historic building setting amongst trees, flanked by two rivers on the dramatic Caithness coast. Turn off following the sign for the studio and the public payphone and keep to the left. There is ample car parking.
