My beachfront workshop studio is in the beautiful village of Hoswick, Shetland. Visitors to my studio can browse collection pieces, find out about my working practices, and enjoy the beautiful sea views out across Hoswick bay. My collection pieces are also available on my website.
Jewellery is about capturing memories, celebrating occasions, and marking wonderful moments in life. I specialise in creating beautiful, unique pieces that reflect these special moments and showcase the style and personality of the individuals who wear them.
As a professional jeweller since 1994, I combine my passion for crafts(wo)manship with my love for people, resulting in creations that fulfill my clients' dreams.
I have had the privilege of working alongside many master craftsmen and women over the years. Their shared skills and sage advice have been invaluable, inspiring and supporting me in my journey. I am honored to continue their legacy.
I began my career in Shetland with Hjaltasteyn and Shetland Jewellery, where I honed my skills before moving to Glasgow in 1996. In Glasgow, I studied Jewellery Design, Manufacture, and Business at North Glasgow College, and Stone Setting at Birmingham Jewellery School, while also working as a designer maker for Hodginson the Jewellers.
In 2004, I relocated to London to work for Wint & Kidd, creating jewelry for high profile clients. In 2008, I launched my own business, designing custom pieces for my own clients and working on commissions for several well known jewellery houses.
In 2019, I returned to Shetland to be close to nature and my family, and established my workshop studio in the village of Hoswick.
