Ullapool Tours

Ullapool is a picturesque fishing village, nestled between mountains and the sea, and offers stunning views. We take advantage of its scenic location on our walking tours which usually start right in the centre of the village. We believe that a walk is the best way to take in Ullapool's lovely surroundings while learning about its past, heritage, stories and food culture along the way - and it's sustainable, too!

We offer three kinds of walking experiences:

1) Historic village walks: Ullapool's past and heritage

Our scenic and entertaining walking tours through the village have been carefully designed to give you a feel for the place and its people. Captivating stories and old photographs will bring the past to life. We offer 3 tours: Popular 2 h in-depth Ullapool Explorer Tour, 1.5 h Characters and Stories Tour, and 1 hour Ullapool Compact Tour.

2) Nature walks: Breathtaking vistas off the beaten path

Our nature walks take you from the centre of Ullapool to areas visitors often miss out on, with great views throughout. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photographs and you guide will entertain you with stories of Ullapool and the area along the way. We offer 3 tours: 2.5 h Ullapool Nature Walk, 3.5 h Ullapool Hill Walk, and 1.5 h Rhue Lighthouse and Coast Walk (for the latter, meet your guide at Rhue carpark 4 miles north of Ullapool).

3) Food tours: A taste of the local cuisine and culture

Our Ullapool Food Tours are a great way to sample a variety of local food and drink in an authentic setting. Both tours have been carefully curated to combine some of our favourite mouthwatering dishes and drinks from welcoming local venues with an engaging itinerary and expert guidance. We offer 2 tours: 3.5 h Flavours of Ullapool and 2 h A taste of Ullapool Food Tour.
