There are many things which make Golf in Scotland so very special. It is no exaggeration to say "We have something for everyone"; there are more than 590 courses across this magnificent landscape, waiting for you to discover and enjoy them.
We have shared our comments and recommendations among ourselves for some time - not just about the courses we played but about the places we visited and the hotels we stayed in, the restaurants we ate in, and the pubs we drank in (and passed many happy hour chatting with the locals!) - but wanted a better way to record and share these experiences.
So, the Scottish Golf Passport was created. A way to record everything we saw, visited, and experienced on our personal journeys of golf in Scotland. Our aim is to allow all our members to keep in touch with old friends and make new ones, using the Scottish Golf Passport to share experiences and recommendations.
Many people refer to our courses and places as "Hidden gems". Why? Because they are gems, and we want you to discover them and tell all your friends about them on your Journey. We want you to hear about your own friends' experiences and recommendations too, so that you can get the very best on every visit.
You can expect a warm welcome at every course you play but, after Golf is finished for the day, get out into the local areas and discover real Scottish friendship waiting to welcome you in the best 19th holes in the world, the restaurants, visitor attractions, in fact wherever you go.
We want you to experience the very best and return again and again to our home, Scotland, the Home of Golf.
