Scotland Street School Museum is currently closed for a major refurbishment. Scotland Street School was designed by the renowned Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh and is now a museum that is a must-see for Mackintosh fans.

The school was designed by Glasgow’s most celebrated architect at the start of the 20th century and was a functioning school up until 1979.

Nowadays it is a museum that tells the story of education in Scotland over a hundred years. The building is a wonderful example of Mackintosh’s architectural style and includes a Mackintosh room which holds the architect’s designs for the building.
