Looking for a fun and exciting activity in the Highlands which will be a highlight of your holiday in Scotland? Or maybe you live here and want an outing on the rivers, lochs, sea, mountains or crags? Or maybe you want to improve your skills, work to an assessment or take a qualification in paddling or climbing?
Welcome to HIghland Outdoor Adventures offering a range of climbing, walking and paddling options for individuals, groups and the whole family – including outings and courses for all levels (beginners through to experts).
Our standard activities include:
- stand up paddleboarding (SUP)
- white water rafting
- canoeing,
- canyoning
- rock climbing
- mountaineering
- and many other summer and winter outdoor pursuits
But we can tailor courses, training and outings to be as easy or challenging as you want. And whatever you choose to do, you can rest assured that we are fully insured and all equipment is included.
We are committed to ensuring that everyone has equal opportunity. Do you have a physical or mental disability or a health issue which may require us to make reasonable adjustments so that you can take part in one of our activities? We ask you tell us of any additional needs you have at the booking stage – but you may find this easier if you ring us directly.
Our base is in Newtonmore in the Cairngorms (near to Inverness, Aviemore, Fort William, and the Rivers Tay, Spey, Findhorn and Garry). From here, we offer activities throughout Scotland and are familiar with most of the major Scottish lochs, rivers, mountains and upland areas.
Our expert instructors are qualified to work at the highest level, and we are members of the British Canoeing Association, Mountaineering Scotland, the British Mountaineering Council and the Association of Mountaineering Instructors.
So why not join us on a safe, fun, learning experience that you will remember forever?
