My name is Julie and I will be delighted to welcome you to Campbell Cairns Farm. We are a working farm rearing goats and sheep for meat. Probably Scotland’s largest goat meat farm, we pride ourselves on supplying quality goat meat UK wide including to some Michelin * restaurants.
Farm tours can vary throughout the year depending upon what is happening on the farm. We always run a “Full Farm Tour” and a “Meet the Goats Tour” but we also offer bottle feeding and kidding/lambing sessions at certain times.
During a tour you will get to meet the animals up close – usually going into pens or fields with them – where you can experience feeding, cuddling and photographing them.
Our Farmyard Shop contains our wool, woven and skins products and is open at times that farm activities allow (Health and Safety !) but we have a 24/7 farm vending shop too. In 2017 we set up the Speyside Producers Market to showcase LOCAL products and producers. The market is held on the 3rd Saturday in a month from 11am – 1pm. During a market you will get to see lots of animals in the pens around the market and get to buy products from other producers – cakes, veg, meats, honey, fruit etc. Seasonality is key so producers vary throughout the year and the market runs from April to December.
Farm tours are undertaken by me, Julie, or daughter, Ellie, and we can talk endlessly about the personalities of individual animals and family lines.
