Active Outdoor Pursuits, born in 1999, is one of the most established providers of outdoor activities, education and training in Scotland. We have developed our facilities & services to provide a comprehensive and dynamic approach to supporting people of all ages and experience to realise their outdoor adventure dreams and ambitions.
We offer a wide range of outdoor activities and, with our own 70 bed accommodation at Craigower Lodge Outdoor Centre in Newtonmore, we can offer packages and holidays to suit all outdoor tastes. Our activities include:
White Water Rafting / Canyoning / Stand up Paddle Boarding/ Rock Climbing / Canoeing / Kayaking & Sea Kayaking / Duckies / Gorge Scrambling / Mountain Biking / Hill Walking / Skiing & Snowboarding / Ski Touring & Mountaineering / Winter Skills Courses
We also offer a wide variety of adventure journeys, such as The Great Glen Way Adventure and West Highland Way Adventure - a Year of Coasts and Waters 2020 journey.
And for those of you who are looking at getting into the industry, we also offer Outdoor Instructor Training Courses.
